So we are confirmed Android Users. Since the Nexus S, from Google, was announced we knew this phone was for us. Most of our clients know that Google Services are a core reality for our business and theirs. We don’t use Google for everything but where we do, they tend to be the main cog in the machine. Thus, in our business we don’t have a choice but to work with the best smartphones on the market. More »

Two step email login for peace-of-mind online

Two step email login for peace-of-mind online {0}

It’s time to embrace two step login (two factor authentication for the geeks). After so many hacks of Gmail and other email accounts by Chinese users (I’m sure others are doing it too but I’ve only caught the Chinese at it) it’s really time to properly safe guard our accounts. 7zip tool for easy windows file zip and unzip

7zip tool for easy windows file zip and unzip {0}

Windows comes with a basic zip and unzip utility which is helpful but we really love 7zip and always use it over the basic windows tool. Once in a while I like to post a note about some of the tools we use every day so as I was setting up a new laptop I thought about this utility. It is another great example of a free utility that works really well. I love to right-click a file or folder and just tell 7zip to take care of it. It gives you a load of options within the right-click menu that strikes the perfect balance between flexibility and speed. It means I don’t have to deal with wizards and starting separate software just to get the task done the way I want it.

A big thank you to the developers of 7zip which can be downloaded here.

Also a reminder that if you didn’t see our article our trick for using PNG Crush in Windows you may want to check it out too.
